Historic monument since 2004, the church of Saint-André de Kamouraska was built from 1805 to 1811, making it the oldest in the Bas-Saint-Laurent. It is also among the thirty most ancient churches in Quebec. It is located alongside the St-Lawrence river on a rocky notch slightly back from the road through the village core. The church also house five classified works of art.
